*FULLSCREEN GAME!*

Space Tales was made originally as a submission to the "New Year, New Skills" Game Jam. It features the jam's theme of "Building Connections" and includes its color pallet. The game is being continentally developed.

Description:

In Space Tales, you are thrust into the role of a seasoned mercenary, navigating the vast and unforgiving expanse of the galaxy. Your mission: to answer the desperate calls of distress that echo from its farthest reaches. With each signal, you confront an array of dangers and unspeakable horrors that the galaxy's inhabitants dare not face themselves. Armed with an arsenal fit for a cosmic warrior and the cunning to match, you'll battle through treacherous environments and confront formidable foes in this intense 2D platform shooting adventure. As the galaxy's go-to for dirty work, you shoulder the burden of its survival, turning peril into profit and fear into valor. Prepare to embark on a journey where your skills will be the difference between triumph and oblivion in the cosmic Odessey of Space Tales.

This game was really cool!

Not only do cool guys look at the explosions, they continue to envision it even through the aftermath. I got absolutely owned the first attempt, and once I got used to the planet's gravity I returned the favor, mad fun loved it.

The jump is a bit slow, but it would just need to add some feedback and a few levels, but for a start, it's cool

Hi Yolostime, the gravity of the first planet is specifically designed, however I'll add more ways to relay this information to the player in updates

Game is sick

using the mouse for fire makes it practically impossible to play on a laptop ... using a key imput would be much better ...
